Just when we hoped the last post might close out this painful trilogy, a new chapter breaks open with greater urgency and gravity.
In a stunning and unprecedented move, sitting FSM Congresswoman, Senator Perpetua Konman, has officially reached out—not to the President of the FSM—but to the Secretary of Foreign Affairs, himself a fellow Chuukese, to solicit international assistance. The contents of her letter read like the charges of a truth commission, not a simple political concern. And it leaves us asking the most basic yet troubling question: Where is the President in all this? Why was he not consulted, or even copied on the letter?
Senator Konman’s letter alleges that “The people of Chuuk—especially in the capital of Weno—have been systematically disenfranchised and silenced through a pattern of state-orchestrated actions designed to override the will of the electorate.”

Her accusations are chilling, serious, and demand clear-eyed attention:
Unlawful takeover of the Election Commission
Documented Systemic Election Fraud
Judicial Collusion and Political Interference
Misuse of Emergency Food Assistance
Unlawful expansion of Police powers through emergency declarations
Revotes ordered, then nullified without explanation
Retaliation against public employees for perceived disloyalty
This isn’t just about elections anymore. This is about the soul of democracy in Chuuk, and by extension, in the Federated States of Micronesia. When a member of the national Congress takes such a step, bypassing the executive branch and appealing directly to foreign affairs and international observers, we know the stakes have grown.
This act is not just political; it is historic. It is a call not just for intervention—but for witness.
And so, what does this mean for all of us?
It means we must remain vigilant. We must remain engaged. And most importantly, we must speak.
The future of Chuuk—and the dignity of its people—depend on truth, transparency, and justice. If these allegations are real, and if democratic institutions in Chuuk have been hijacked, then we as Micronesians cannot stay silent. We must stand with the people of Chuuk as they seek answers, demand accountability, and strive for a better tomorrow.
Let us hope this isn’t just another volume in a tragedy. Let this be the beginning of something greater—a reckoning, a reawakening, and a renewal of democracy.
Stay tuned. Stay awake. And may the truth prevail.
The Senator’s letter reads like the same script that the US Democrats used during the 2020 election while using a fake pandemic to allow unprecedented illegal voting. It has come to light recently through the renewal of transparency in government of the US, that the PRC, along with many socialist platforms, were instigators in subverting the Rule of Law. Americans watched for four long years as Obama’s anti-American and undemocratic processes went unchecked under the Biden ‘administration’. I can only pray for the Chuukese people so that they will be able to find justice through the Great Awakening that occurred with the re-election of President Trump. Although I do not know the specifics of the situation during Chuuk’s election, and cannot determine which side committed fraud, it is clear that the PRC operatives within the FSM are able to subvert the sovereignty of the FSM people. If you remove the source of corruption, such as the PRC, then corruption may end and democracy could flourish. Keep the faith Chuuk! Everything comes around! In the meantime, take steps to drive out the snakes by ending relations with Communists!
Kalahngan for all the information you bring to the people! its hard to find other credible sources.
